"Cyber Crime Unit - Digital Skills Academy"

Two innovative applications entitled “Digital Skills Academy” are hosted and presented by the Cyber Crime Unit of Greece in the 87th International Fair of Thessaloniki.

The applications aim to raise awareness of the development of digital skills by the students towards a variety of risks on the Internet.

More specifically, an Augmented Reality enhanced Board Game has been developed for students aged 8-12, while a Virtual Reality online game has been developed for students aged 13-18.

For the VR Game, students can either use virtual reality glasses or via PC, immerse themselves in the Academy of Digital Skills, trying to solve puzzles with the help of the Personal Digital Trainer of the Cyber Crime Unit, to unlock hidden areas of the Academy in order to graduate (after solving all the cases) and receive their Degree from the Academy.

The applications are the result of the official cooperation of the Greek Cyber Crime Division, with the AETMA Lab (https://aetma.ihu.gr) and the students of the IMT MSc in Immersive Technologies program (https://imt.ihu,gr) of the Informatics Department of the International Hellenic University

All material is offered free for the schools and students in Greece.
